One Crown Place
How does one deliver 246 luxury apartments, 109,000 square feet of offices and transform a dilapidated historic Georgian terrace into a 41 room luxury hotel? Via innovation, collaboration and teamwork.
Sitting on the boundary of Shoreditch and the City of London, Edwards PM Ltd led the client’s project management team from demolition to completion and operation. The site occupied a whole city block and posed significant logistical and neighbourly challenges.
It featured two 28 and 33 storey towers sitting on top of six floors of office, this was mixed use development in its truest form. It was finished ahead of programme, in 2021, despite being completed during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Stuart Edwards presented the building to the Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat in Chicago in 2022. It was awarded Best Tall Building in Europe and received two further Awards of Excellence in other categories.
